H appy Halloween everyone! Hope you are all eating entirely too much candy for your own good! ;-) I know I am. Anyway, I just wanted to let all of our clients know the promos we are running from now through November 11 (our holiday deadline). We have 3 at the same time, just because we think they are all fabulous and think you all should take advantage of it for your holiday gifts.
Meanwhile, here is a preview of Baby Sophie's First Birthday shoot.
Here the promos go...
First... BOGO for prints (again)! Whatever your order is for your prints, we will double it!
Second... Three-for-the-price-of-two! SO, for every two sets (25 each) of cards you buy, we will throw in an extra set of 25 for free. This is good for all types of cards we offer. Email us for details and options for designs- these are great for holiday cards, thank you cards, or save-the-dates.
Third and final (my fave)... The Mini-Me deal! If you purchase a canvas gallery wrap of 16x20 or larger, we will throw in a copy at half size (8x10 or larger). Perfect gift for the parents!
We want to reward our faithful blog readers, so we are requiring you to mention the word BLOG somewhere in your order so that we know you want the deal and heard about it here! (There is a notes section for each order, but if you can't find it, then just email us).

Johanna and Eric - Gideon Putnam Resort |

I t seems now, when I get the chance to take a break from album designs and orders, that blogging is just a breath of fresh air. I have been DYING to blog Johanna & Eric's wedding from a few weeks ago ever since the day they booked me well over a year ago! I had this feeling, as soon as I talked to Johanna on the phone, that their wedding was going to be a great one, and after their engagement session out in California, this feeling was even further confirmed that I would be smiling or laughing through their whole wedding day. Johanna is an actress/model (aka. every photographers' dream) and Eric is a comedic writer, and the two together are just fabulous. Kristin joined me, and we really had a blast! I hope you enjoy the preview of their "Old Hollywood" wedding at Gideon Putnam Resort... Happy viewing!
This image makes me laugh, as do most getting ready images with the guys... who knew ready-made ties were so tricky?!
i absolutely love fish-net veils... also, love this image of Johanna putting it on.
this is one of the shots that I take VERY carefully. But, I think it is absolutely beautiful. Johanna went all out with her Old Hollywood theme- all the way down to enduring the danger of having "old fashioned" stockings which snapped up with a garter belt... for the sake of modesty, there is not a full body shot of her mom snapping them for her, but that is what is happening. :-)
Love the joy in this one of Johanna getting her dress on, and her maid of honor getting her necklace ready for her.
Johanna was a stunning bride... so much so that I couldn't decide which one of her portraits I like more! this one...
or this one (taken a second later)...
Just married! (you probably remember this one from the teaser- I still love Eric's expression!)
I was going to share my shot of the groomsmen together because there is a sequence of about 5 that really make me laugh, but the guys' faces are too small on it for the full blog effect. So, instead, I share one of Kristin's shots of one of the same moments... Eric's lil brother. :-D
I had to get creative with the ring shots since we had NO natural light left, and I desperately wanted to stick to their wedding theme... so, here are my two favorites! Guess where they are taken?
Awh, the first dance!
And... the cake. Now, I am not much of a cake girl... except when they are like this. Taking detail shots of this one was PURE torture!! The smell of dark chocolate truffles and orange cake made me want to dive face-first into this mass of yumminess, but thankfully, I held back... at least until the end of the night when I snatched a piece.
Oh, there are too many dancing shots to share. Johanna & Eric's guests were phenomenal dancers and they certainly knew how to have a great time. Here is Johanna dancing with her mom.
And finally... Johanna & Eric had a photobooth at their wedding. Now, I have seen these before at weddings, and I love watching guests huddle around them or pack 10 people into a seat intended for two... but I usually refrain from partaking in the festivities... this time, however, Kristin and I could not help ourselves. During our dinner break, we snuck in. ...and laughed real hard for hours over it! We may just have to make a poster and put it up in the studio... maybe. ;-)
Since the sun had set before the end of their ceremony (and Johanna & Eric did not want to see each other before the ceremony), we did a Day After session with them! That blog post will be coming sometime early next week... before then, I will share Michelle & Dan's engagement session that I did VERY early the morning after this wedding.
Reminder: Holiday order deadline is November 11, which is coming quicker than I know! Crazy!

Heather and Norm - Engaged! |

H ello blog world!! I have missed you! Although I am still buried in album orders, I cannot wait any longer to post on here... so I am not. I had so much fun with Heather and Norm; they were just unbelievably cute together. Thus, I am really looking forward to their wedding next year! So, without further delay... Here is the full preview of Heather and Norm's engagement session from over two weeks ago (yikes!)... Happy Viewing!
see what I mean by "unbelievably cute together?!"
you've seen this one already from the sneaky peak. I still love it!
Okay, I half "awh!" and half laugh when I see this one. I really love the spot and love how cuddly they are, but I giggle when I look at Norm's face.
signature headless shot. ;-)
Love the foliage in this one! And her eyelashes!!
Oh how I love it when people throw their head back in laughter!
I absolutely love this natural moment.
Fall is so beautiful in the Adirondacks; I love these colors! (by the way, for those of you who do not live up here... fall is OVER now. first little snow all day yesterday).
I love the textures at John Brown Farm.
Heather is just so dang cute! Love this!
Alrighty, that is all for now... next post will be early next week.
