Merry Christmas!

hope everyone is having a truly wonderful holiday season! Â We have one more wedding this year (this coming weekend in Spartanburg, SC), but I just want to thank ALL of our clients for a wonderful year. Â We have been so blessed to be able to do what we do, and we couldn't have had such a great year without you! Â Â To all the loyal blog readers, I want you to know that our "best of" posts will not come until the New Year since we have had 3 weddings this month and have had more holiday orders this year than ever before! Â So... keep an eye out the first weekend of the New Year for posts from the last wedding of 2007 and the best of.Â Merry Christmas! Â Happy New Year!! Weddings

Stephanie & Matthew - Rock Hill, SC

ell, we are FINALLY home (and now running around like a bunch of crazies!). In spite of the difficult travel conditions, we really had a wonderful weekend down in Charlotte. It was such a joy to be around the Marion family once again (Chris and I photographed my dear friend Jane's wedding in November 2006 in the same church). Of course, it has not rained in the Charlotte area in MONTHS, but it rained on Saturday. Even still, it was a wonderful day to get married... inside! ;-) Stephanie & Matthew were SO excited to get married; I'm not sure it even mattered to them what was happening outdoors. Anyway... happy viewing and congrats!

Stephanie really loved the shots I got of Jane last year in front of the stained glass, so we did a few for her, too! What stunning brides they have in Rock Hill!

Chris grabbed this action shot when a groomsmen/aspiring photographer asked Stephanie to put the veil over Matthew's head. It lasted about 1 second, but Chris got it!

Stuck

h the joys of traveling!Â Chris and I are stuck in Charlotte (fortunately, my dad & step-mom live here) until tomorrow... hopefully the winter storm will be under control by then.Â But, anyway, this is just a general announcement that if you are waiting for the post for the wedding this weekend (or anything else I may have promised for tomorrow), it will be another day or so.Â Thanks!
