Protected: Brooke’s Bridal Portraits

arly early early on Saturday morning (6:30am is so early for a Saturday)... I met up with Brooke and her mom & sister at the boathouse on Upper Saranac Lake to take a little trip out to Chapel Island. Brooke will be marrying our dear friend Brad on 9.8.7 on this little island, and we could not be happier for both of them! Brooke is about the sweetest person you will ever meet, and Brad... well, he's just great!

Welcome to the new blog!

y husband Chris is the best husband ever. ;-) Seriously, he has been tirelessly working in all of his (little bit) of free time to come up with this awesome new blog!!! I am so proud of him. He did every bit of it; all I did was make sure he was picking decent colors (he is mildly color blind). Anyway, post a comment, drop me an email, let us know what you think.

In other news... I just signed a lease today for an office/studio space in Saranac Lake on Broadway!Â Only minor construction needs to be done and a wee bit of color palette resorting since we are limited to the forest green (unfortunately) new carpet.

Ireland Photography for Sale

inally... after 4 months of being back in the U.S., I have a gallery online for all those who asked if they could purchase prints of my Ireland Photography from our trip this past March. A new directory will open, and Ireland Photography is near the bottom. There is not a password. We, of course, took more photos than this, but we felt that these were the most appropriate for resale. Allison trashes the dress!

ast night, Chris and I met up with our first volunteer for "Trash the Dress." Newlyweds Allison and Rob graciously drove almost 5 hours to get to Saranac Lake... we enjoyed a wonderful meal together at Milano North in Lake Placid, then we got geared up to go. It was sprinkling and dark out, so we had next-to-no daylight left when we started... But we were prepared to get creative with lighting anyway. We grabbed a few urban shots at the good ole Train Station in Saranac Lake, but then we quickly headed out to Middle Saranac Lake. Chris and I had so much fun swimming and wading around in the shallow lake, playing with different angles and lighting with Allison! We definitely want to do this again! Sessions will be priced just like portrait sessions. Anyway, here are the exciting results...
